This styling of West Coast Swing has the Follower doing a Rock Step in Closed Position Patterns and is using a Straight Count as opposed to a Rolling Count. For a definition of terms used here go to DanceDictionary.com

I am sure there are also many other acceptable paths to this common goal other than what I have defined here. I would like to see lesson structures created by others that make full use of the Universal Unit System (TM).
