Turns
No turns -- just walk strait forward in the slot, then strait back

Verbal:
[&a1 &a2] [&a3 &a4] [&a5 &a6] [&a7 &a8] or

[&aStep &aStep] [&aStep &StepStep] [&aStep &aStep] [&aStep &StepStep]

IMPORTANT POINTS

Counts "1 2": The Leader steps to his Left Rail back into counts "1" and "2". This clears the Slot for the Follower who is stepping straight Forward on both counts.

Counts "3 a 4": The Leader completes a turn and finishes with one foot on each rail -- facing the Follower's back.

Counts "4 and "5": After count "4" the Leader turns Rt, leads thru the CPB, and steps (Rt Foot) side on count "5" to what would have been the left rail. This clears the Slot so the Follower can be lead straight back into count "5".

The Leader does a 1/4 Right Turn. The Follower moves straight Forward. The Leader keeps the Left Hand level in close - not raising it. The Leader does raise the left elbow straight up yielding a window the Follower can look through. Remember, Leader's hand down, but elbow up.

Counts "5 6": The Leader will step [side back] on counts [5 6]. This must be done or the Step Pattern will not feel right. The Leader then steps back into the slot by count "6"

On count "5": The Leader steps Side Right in 2nd Foot Position and the Follower steps forward in the Slot in 4th Foot Position.

Between counts "5" and "6": The Leader lifts the Left Hand inline with the Slot and moves the CPB inline with the Slot leading the Follower (with both hands) backward in the Slot.

Count "6": the Follower will step Forward into the Slot in 4th Foot Position with her back to the Leader.

Between counts "6" and "7": The does her 1/2 Left Turn (CCW).

On Count "7": The Woman will step Back in the Slot in an 3rd Foot Position, facing the Man - into the first step of her Anchor.

Extremely Important: (1) From count "5" to the end of the Step Pattern, the Man's Left Hand must stay inline with the Slot - not moving to either side or it will throw the Woman off balance.
