The true version of Night Club 2-Step starts with a a step back in 5th Foot Position. That yields a Movement Unit that is [Up & Up]. However it is quite common for people to start the dance with a side step in 2nd Foot Position that yields a Movement Unit that is [Dn & Dn] similar to Samba. Who cares? Have fun!
This lesson plan will use the styling that starts with the initial step back in 5th Foot Position.
